JOB TITLE: Assistant Professor of Nursing REPORTS TO: Nursing Program Director DEPARTMENT: Academic Affairs START DATE: August 2026 CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Faculty SALARY: TBD General Functi on: Face -to-Face Teaching and Clinical Instruction Andrew College is seeking an Assistant Professor for its two -year nursing program. The ideal candidat e will have a master's degree in nursing. Preference will be given to applicants with Pediatrics and Adult Health care. Andrew College f aculty is expected to understand, promote, and support the mission of the College. Faculty will: Provide classroom and clinical instruction for college level nursing courses. Develop assigned course syll abi to reflect Andrew College's and the School of Nursing philosophy, theoretical constructs, course description, and objectives and curr iculum in conjunction with the Nursing Program Director. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate the learning styles of students Mainta in a Canvas shell for all courses, online and on -campus Provide opportunities for active student involvement through practice and application Model and encourage a collaborative faculty -student relationship Advise and mentor students Participate in develop ing programs, evaluating and revising student policies, organizational framework, revising curricular offerings and other duties as needed Promote and collaborate with intensive academic support programs of the College Serve as a collaborative member of Co llege faculty Follow the Faculty Handbook , College Catalog, Employee Handbook, and Andrew College Policies and Procedures Handbook Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing/unencumbered GA RN license Current health care provider CPR/BLS certification Three to five years teaching experience preferred. Must be authorized for unrestricted employment in the United States indefinitely with no immigration sponsorship needed. Working Conditions: Office and classroom environment with minimum lifting (25 pounds) required . Flexible teaching and office hours that may include late afte rnoons, early evenings, and clini cal setting schedule.
