The Greehey School of Business at St. Marys University in San Antonio, Texas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management position starting August 1, 2026.
Preference will be given to candidates able to teach across multiple instructional modalities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, are familiar with experiential learning and/or service learning, and who demonstrate an interest in and the capacity to conduct quality scholarly research and service.
Qualifications Candidates must hold or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Management or a related business degree from an AACSB accredited school. ABD candidates will be considered if their expected graduation date is no later than August 1, 2026.

Faculty members are expected to teach various management courses including those in their area of expertise. Faculty members in the Greehey School of Business are also expected to teach core business courses as needed. Prior teaching experience and evidence of innovative pedagogy and course development is highly desired.
Beyond teaching, candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and a commitment to contribute meaningfully to the department, the Greehey School of Business, local community, and St. Marys University mission. Successful faculty members in the Greehey School of Business maintain a balanced portfolio of teaching, advising, research, and service and are open to interaction with industry and the profession.
About Us The position is within the Department of Management and Marketing in the Greehey School of Business, which offers majors in Marketing, Management, and International Business.
At the graduate level, faculty members provide instruction to students enrolled in the MBA program. The Greehey School of Business, accredited by AACSB International, offers undergraduate BBA degrees in various fields and an MBA for Professionals at the graduate level. With a 1:17 faculty-to-student ratio, the school is known for academic excellence and innovative programming and has a highly engaged alumni base.
