The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas State University invites applications for an open position as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Special Education. This is a non-tenure line, nine-month faculty of instruction position with a renewable one-year contract subject to a positive annual review. This position is located at the San Marcos Campus 30 miles south of Austin and 45 miles north of San Antonio, Texas. Applicants with expertise in inclusive special education practices (i.e., least restrictive environment, free and appropriate public education), emotional/behavioral disabilities, and multi-tiered systems of academic and behavioral supports are encouraged to apply.
