Chicago State University School of Pharmacy invites applications for a tenure-track academic-year faculty position in Medicinal Chemistry. Qualified applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have a pharmacy background but it is not required. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

The successful applicant will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a School of pharmacy.

Required Education Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or a closely related discipline

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience in teaching Medicinal Chemistry and Biochemistry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have a pharmacy background and previous experience in pharmacy education.
