Work week is 37.5 hrs. A great highlight in December is that Marshall University employees receive almost two weeks off for Winter Break Holidays - Employees receive 13 Paid Holidays
Annual and Sick Leave - Classified Staff Non-Classified Staff and 12-month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year max 360 hours and up to 18 days of sick leave per year.

Assistant Professor Family MedicineSports Medicine
Marshall Health Network and Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Health seek a full-time clinical faculty to practice continuity of care in a combined position of Sports Medicine and Family Medicine physician at its Huntington Internal Medicine Group clinic location 3075 U.S. Route 60 Huntington WV 25705 in Cabell County West Virginia.
Must be Family Medicine and Sports Medicine board certified or board eligible. License to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia required at time of employment. The position includes a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor in the school of medicine. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Job Duties
Caring for diverse patient demographics to include patients of all ages in a supportive community-focused environment ·Diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains strains and fractures Developing personalized treatment plans that may include medication physical therapy and rehabilitation Providing preventive care and education on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices Collaborating with physical therapists and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care Performing diagnostic tests use of certain diagnostic medical devices
