About the Role:
The Assistant Professor of Accounting plays a pivotal role in advancing the academic mission of the institution by delivering high-quality education in accounting principles and practices. This position teaches undergraduate accounting courses that support the institution's business programs, which are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). The role involves developing and teaching courses that prepare students for successful careers in business and related fields.
The Assistant Professor of Accounting is also expected to engage in ongoing professional development and scholarly activities that contribute to the discipline of accounting and enhance the institution's academic reputation. In addition, the position includes service responsibilities such as curriculum development, student mentoring, and participation in departmental and college committees. Ultimately, this role aims to foster a dynamic learning environment that cultivates critical thinking, ethical standards, and professional competence among students.
