The Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Assistant Principal at Woodland School. The right candidate will:

  • Provide instructional leadership to improve student learning and achievement.
  • Support the implementation of the District''s vision and school improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the supervision, coaching, and evaluation of certified and support staff.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and high expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Students to ensure effective student support systems, including behavior, attendance, and social-emotional learning.
  • Collaborate with the special education staff, intervention teams, counselors, and other staff to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Use student achievement and behavioral data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and management of building systems, schedules, and daily operations.
  • Support professional learning and continuous improvement efforts across the school.
  • Support schoolwide literacy initiatives through knowledge of effective literacy instruction, assessment, and intervention practices.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to growth through feedback and reflection.
