The High School Assistant Principal supports Hanover High School and the Principal in promoting a safe, efficient, inclusive, and academically rigorous school environment. This role provides leadership in academic programming, student support, and school improvement efforts. The Assistant Principal will plan and oversee key areas of daily operations and provide supervision at school events. Support curriculum, instruction, assessment, and academic intervention Assist with scheduling, student support services, and faculty supervision/evaluation Promote a positive school climate, support strong student attendance, and ensure consistent adherence to behavior expectations Manage areas of daily operations, safety procedures, and school-wide communication Assist with the coordination and supervision of events, including graduation, assessments, dances/proms, assemblies, concert/theater performances, extracurricular activities, and athletic events. Collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners to support student success All other duties as assigned by the Principal and Superintendent of Schools.
