EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to: Master's degree in education or a related field and four years of classroom experience, including at least two years at the elementary school level.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
ENVIRONMENT: Office and classroom environment; subject to constant interruptions.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Sitting and standing for extended periods of time, walking around campus, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, computers, and hearing and speaking to communicate with others.
HAZARDS: Exposure to potentially volatile and emotional students and parents.

A valid California Administrative Credential authorizing service as a school administrator at the TK-5th grade level and a teaching credential authorizing service at the elementary level, along with possession of a Master''s Degree. + Four years of classroom experience, including at least two years at the elementary school level. +Valid driver''s license (DO NOT ATTACH TO THIS APPLICATION).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such in the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.

SELECTION PROCESS The qualifications of each applicant will be evaluated in a multi-step process using specific criteria. The adopted criteria will be utilized during the application screening, interviewing and final decision-making process. After the application screening is completed, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and the Director of Child Development will determine those candidates to be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted in June and finalists may be invited to return for an additional interview with the Superintendent. The successful candidate will assume his/her position as soon thereafter as is mutually agreeable.
