Our Mission: To produce inspired thinkers and creative members of society through the infusion of music into an academically challenging environment. Our mission and vision align with the SC Charter School Act's purpose: to "create new, innovative, and more flexible ways of educating children within the public school system, with the goal of closing the achievement gaps between low-performing and high-performing student groups."

Allegro offers a diverse educational community for all students who live in Charleston County, South Carolina.

Our Ideal Candidate: Allegro seeks creative-minded individuals willing to work collaboratively in a team setting. The ideal candidate is adaptive, flexible, energetic, positive, resilient, and hard-working.

What to Expect: No two days are alike at Allegro. Your responsibilities may evolve, and we seek candidates who can adapt and go the extra mile. You'll differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. As a 1:1 school, experience with classroom technology and a commitment to innovation are essential. A genuine love of music is paramount, as it permeates our entire curriculum. Strong classroom management skills and clear routines are necessary to maintain our high-quality educational environment.

As a small school, we spend time together both in and out of the building. Friendly, outgoing people who enjoy collaborating thrive in our school culture.
