DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -----------------------------
Outreach to various stakeholders, institutions, businesses, industry groups, and community organizations, including homeowners, tenants, landlords, real estate brokers, community health centers, pediatric offices, etc. to promote the City of Quincy's Lead Abatement Program, First-Time Homebuyer and Housing Rehabilitation Programs;
Schedule, coordinate, and execute public events to disseminate information about housing programs to a diverse constituency, including homeowners, tenants, landlords, property managers, and social service providers;
Maintain and establish relationships with external organizations to promote the participation and growth of the Lead Abatement Program;
Assist applicants in completing program applications and compiling necessary program documents;
Develop education and outreach materials to support Lead Abatement Program marketing goals;
Execute mailings and other outreach activities to support the Lead Abatement Program, Housing Rehabilitation, and First-Time Homebuyer Programs;
Develop and evaluate marketing and outreach strategies to meet the outcome unit goals as established by the Lead Abatement Program;
Maintain Office of Healthy Homes social media outlets, including websites, Next-door, and other platforms;
Participate in interviews in collaboration with QATV, and coordinate the OHH podcast.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS ------------------------------------------
### Education and Experience
Candidates shall have a minimum of three years of experience in administering housing programs; community relations, public affairs, public administration, marketing, or business administration.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

### Knowledge and Experience in Working with Diverse Communities
Exceptional interpersonal skills Strong writing and oral presentations skills Experience in facilitating public meetings and other public forums Exceptional organizational and planning skills Work effectively with other team members to define project goals, create timelines, and identify issues Ability to create engaging displays and public education materials Knowledge and command of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access) Available to attend evening and weekend community events and meetings Ability and/or willingness to complete affordable housing rental monitoring Understanding of basic housing finance principles Demonstrated ability to complete and/or learn basic mortgage loan underwriting concepts and functions Ability to develop and maintain external relationships with lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys, among others Ability to work with and manage consultants and contractors
