The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice in Public Relations to begin fall 2026. Successful candidates will share their industry experience with a creative community of students to prepare them for employment in strategic communication positions.
We are committed to hiring an accomplished, passionate, practicing public relations professional. The successful candidate will teach classes primarily at our Round Rock campus but also our San Marcos campus and online. The candidate will participate and represent the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at university events and student organizations at the Round Rock campus.
