Job Summary:
Mercy University invites nominations and applications for a 12-month faculty position for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at our Westchester campus (Dobbs Ferry, NY). Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
• This position requires the ability to teach in a variety of courses. • Responsibilities include teaching with an emphasis on high impact teaching practices, inclusive pedagogy, and active learning.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Teaching experience - minimum two years • Unencumbered NYS License • Experience teaching in an online format • Experience in clinical practice for FNP formation • Experience working with diverse student populations
Education Requirements:
• Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD, DSci) is required with national certification in a NP specialty (family, adult or pediatrics)
