Minimum and Additional Requirements

Required Education and Experience

PhD in Nursing or a PhD in a health-related field and a minimum of a master's degree in nursing.

Candidates at theAssistant Professorlevel are expected to have:

  • Clinical and research expertise,
  • A focused program of research with a history of publications and grant submissions.

Candidates at theAssociate Professorlevel are expected to have:

  • A record of publications and externally funded research grants,
  • Scientific partnerships with junior and senior research faculty,
  • PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.
