Assistant Operations I Compensation
• The pay for this position is $17.50 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Assistant Operations I Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Assistant Operations I Responsibilities
• Coordinate, assemble, and package patient orders for shipment
• Retrieve shipping documents/labels and organize them for picking
• Assist with packing and shipping medications; track shipments and report non-delivered packages
• Organize daily shipping reports for review by the Branch Manager
• Maintain warehouse stock in a clean and organized manner; restock pharmacy picking areas
• Conduct physical inventory and daily cycle counts
• Assist with purchase orders, receiving inventory, and reconciling inventory balances (under pharmacist supervision)
• Help manage pharmaceutical product levels and returned goods according to SOP guidelines
• Receive non-pharmaceutical supplies via the back dock
Assistant Operations I Requirements
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience (per client requirement)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (physically demanding role)
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn systems; 10-key/typing (20 WPM) desired
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Assistant Operations I Preferred Qualifications
• Purchasing and/or data entry experience
• Knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Pharmacy experience a plus
• Pharmacy technician license or certification/training as required by individual state pharmacy regulations
