HCT is seeking an Interim Assistant Nurse Manager of ED for a 250+ bed hospital in California. The responsibilities include:
- Oversight of daily operations, ensuring policies are followed, managing staff, patient complaints and escalations.
- Conducting regular rounding with a focus on workplace safety and supporting ER charting as needed.
- Stepping in as a lead or “charge nurse” when needed, supporting critical care areas and team workflow as needed.
- Enforcing established processes rather than creating new ones.
Requirements:
- Education: BSN or BA in health care related field required. Masters preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience and minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
- License: Current CA RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CEN Preferred
- EMR: Epic
