Assistant Neighborhood Swim Coach\n \nStarting Hourly Rate: $17.35\n \nWork Locations: \n \nAlthough anchored at Buhr Park Pool, our swim team is a city wide swim team that practice at both Buhr Park and Veterans Memorial Pool. Swim coaches must be willing to coach at both locations.\n \nAssists the Head Neighborhood Swim Coach in the administration, management and operation of competitive neighborhood swim team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working independently with groups of children, providing skill instruction and participating in local meets.\n \nEmployees will have an opportunity for Lifeguard certification reimbursement up to $200 upon working a minimum of 200 hours. \n \nRequired Qualifications:\n\n Must be a minimum of 16 years of age\n Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment. The City offers CPR/AED and First Aid\n \nclasses, which are free to Parks employees. Please note, your certification must be from an organization that has been approved by the Bureau of Community and Health Systems, Child Care Licensing Division. Please see link for list of approved organizations. \n Must possess current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification by start of employment\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n Current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification\n \nPhysical Requirements:\n \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
