Advertising/Posting Title Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach Posting Summary
Assist in administering and managing a competitive NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's lacrosse program within the context of the educational mission of the University. Assist with training and coaching student athletes to compete effectively and successfully on NCAA Division I level. Assist with managing and planning for daily practices and intercollegiate contests and supervise conditioning and training program in conjunction with professional staff. Assist with recruiting high quality student-athletes who are capable of succeeding in a challenging academic environment and competitive lacrosse program. Provide general guidance and support for student-athletes in athletic and non-athletic endeavors to enhance their experience at the University and promote academic success. Provide leadership for the program and utilize skills and knowledge to provide positive expertise in instruction and tactical aspects of men's lacrosse.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience in recruiting NCAA prospects and/or coaching at the intercollegiate level or equivalent required. Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate skill techniques required as well as an ability to travel extensively. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion required.
