Title of Position - Assistant Men's and Women's Track and Field Jumps Coach-Full-time

Function of Position:

The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach in all phases of a Division III program.

This is a 12-month, full-time position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and retain student-athletes who meet both academic and athletic standards
  • Coach horizontal and vertical jump events during practices and competitions
  • Organize and manage all aspects of home track and field meets
  • Oversee general administrative functions of the track and field program
  • Perform additional duties within the athletic department as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior coaching or competitive playing experience in NCAA Divisions
  • Credentials should reflect proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting, and in working with student-athletes
  • Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and is excited about being a great recruiter
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards and professional demeanor in all aspects of career
