The Assistant Store Manager supports daily store operations, working closely with the Store Manager and district team to ensure compliance, training, and sales growth.
Key duties include managing staff, motivating employees, providing customer service, operating registers, stocking, maintaining store cleanliness, and enforcing safety policies. The role requires working at least two nights and three weekends per month, with responsibility for cash and inventory in the absence of the Store Manager.
Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, a working phone, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior convenience store experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills include multitasking, organization, and communication. The role involves physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending. Familiarity with POS systems and general office equipment is helpful.
Pay rates range from $18.40 to $20.40 per hour.
