Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales
Reports to: General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Spanish-speaking ability preferred to support our Spanish-speaking customer base.
Summary: The Assistant Manager - Sales supports the General Manager in running a smooth, welcoming, and enrollment-driven swim school. This is a people-first role - you'll spend your days connecting with families on the phone and in person, keeping daily operations running at a high standard, and coaching the Front Desk team to excel in sales and customer service growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the face of the school - greet every member and family warmly on arrival and departure.
- Keep the facility clean, organized, and always ready for customers.
- Oversee the first day swimmer process: wristbands, tours, lane walks, and follow up.
- Support daily enrollment goals by calling, texting, and following up on leads.
- Track enrollments and flag trends or gaps to the General Manager.
- Handle common objections and help the team do the same.
- Coaching Front Desk staff through side-by-side support and regular feedback.
- Plan monthly community events and build local partnerships.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts - responsible for the full operation of the school, stepping in across aquatics, front desk, and facilities wherever the team needs support and ensuring every area is running at the Goldfish standard.
What We’re Looking For:
- A natural communicator - comfortable on the phone and in person with families.
- Comfortable learning new software (we'll train you on our systems).
- Organized, dependable, and proactive about following through.
- 1-2 years in a customer service, sales, or team support role.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
