    Who You Are:

    As a Lovesac Outlet Assistant Store Manager, you are energized by delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving operational excellence, and supporting strong business results. You support the Store Manager by leading from the floor, inspiring the team to love our customers while balancing sales leadership, inventory flow, fulfillment, and daily operations in a fast-paced outlet environment.

    What You'll Do:

    Sales & Customer Experience Leadership

    • Lead from the floor with energy and optimism, actively selling while coaching associates to maximize customer opportunities, drive conversion, build a healthy quote pipeline, and create lasting customer relationships that fuel repeat business and brand advocacy.
    • Support the store manager in delivering a seamless customer journey from discovery to pickup, holding the team accountable for exceptional service, strong conversion, and inventory productivity while creating urgency around outlet opportunities and maximizing both on-hand and order-based assortment sales.
    • Model expert product knowledge and selling behaviors, helping customers navigate changing assortments, limited-quantity opportunities, and value-driven solutions while delivering engaging brand experiences.
    • Take ownership of your performance, operating with confidence, strong decision-making, and disciplined execution to consistently meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs, helping the store manager deliver strong operational and financial outcomes.

    Operational Excellence

    • Support day-to-day store operations by balancing scheduling, merchandising, inventory flow, fulfillment, shipments, and technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong business results.
    • Partner with the store manager and stock supervisor to drive inventory accuracy, product flow, shipment, fulfillment, and stockroom operations-ensuring merchandise is received, processed, stored, and moved efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized, and customer-ready environment that supports availability, sell-through, and changing business needs.
    • Help bring the Lovesac brand to life through visual merchandising, signage, and in-store presentation, ensuring customers can easily shop changing assortments and outlet-specific opportunities.
    • Embrace change with curiosity and agility, supporting new initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts that help the store, team, and business grow.
    • Serve as the leader on duty as needed, confidently stepping in to lead the business, make decisions, and ensure a seamless store experience in the Store Manager's absence.

    Requirements:

    • 18 years of age or older.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management or customer service role.
    • Must regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights, to ensure you capitalize on demand, outperform goals, and maximize your earnings.
    • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach.
    • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
    • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property. Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
    • Must be able to safely load, unload, stage, move, and assemble furniture products with or without assistance. Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and to assemble and disassemble furniture while working on the selling floor. Candidates must be able to safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other moving equipment.
    • This position regularly requires moving objects (including medium to large furniture items) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position. This position constantly requires standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift. This position regularly requires the following actions lifting; pushing; pulling; bending; twisting; kneeling; reaching; stooping; crawling; and climbing.

    Associates will be eligible to receive up to 125 hours of paid time off within our fiscal calendar year. They will be paid 1 1/2 times their regular rate for any hours worked over 40 hours in a work week. In addition, they will be eligible to receive 8 paid company recognized holidays and will be paid 1 1/2 times their regular rate for any hours worked on these holidays. Eligibility and terms for all benefits listed are as outlined in Lovesac's policy and plan documents.

    Associate pay will vary based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill level and competencies.
