Assistant General Manager (AGM) Top 5 Accountabilities "You Are the Reason Why" 1. Lead Food Safety - No Exceptions, No Excuses As an AGM, food safety isn't just a checklist - it's a culture you build. Complete the Food Safety Significant checklist, critical line temp chart, and enforce proper handwashing procedures every shift. You are responsible for ensuring your entire team executes these standards with consistency. If it's not safe, it doesn't go out. Period. That's what Proud looks like at the leadership level. 2. Deliver a Shift Worth Bragging About Fast, friendly service and 100% accurate orders - every guest, every visit, every shift. As an AGM, you're not just monitoring the guest experience, you're driving it. Coach your team in real time, remove barriers, and hold the standard high even when it's hard. When your shift runs right, guests feel it. That's "You Are the Reason Why" in action. 3. Execute Zones & Own Prep and Hold You are responsible for ensuring Own Your Zone Cards are being executed at every position and that prep and hold are being managed precisely throughout your shift. Use the Prep Guide, stay ahead of the rush, and make sure nothing is wasted and nothing runs out. A great AGM sees problems before they happen and fixes them before the guest ever notices. 4. Manage Labor & ICOS With a General Manager Mindset Deploy your team with purpose and adjust in real time based on business volume. Labor and ICOS are two of your biggest responsibilities - manage it too tightly and your team breaks down, managing it too loose and the business suffers. Find the balance. Make smart, data-driven decisions every shift by making labor adjustments, using Build 2s when ordering, validating trucks on delivery, daily accurate counts and following Prep Guide. This is "We Own It, We Grow It" - treat the business like it's yours because one day it could be. 5. Execute Team Member Training - All the Way Through This is non-negotiable at Pacific Bells. Follow all training plans and calendars in One-Source and see every new hire's training through to full completion before they are placed in a live position. Cutting training short is not a solution - it is a failure to the team member and to the brand. Bold leaders invest in their people. Level Up your restaurant by developing every single person on your team the right way, every time. Duties and Responsibilities:
