    About the Role: 
    This position works closely with the Store Manager to meet sales goals, maintain accurate financial records, and uphold store standards for cleanliness, organization, and merchandising.  The role also serves as a key point of contact for store volunteers, overseeing recruitment, scheduling, training, and retention to ensure consistent staffing and volunteer satisfaction. 

    This individual is responsible for processing donations, monitoring pricing procedures, and facilitating communication between store staff and management.  This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and productive environment for both customers and volunteers. The Assistant Manager must be proactive in supporting store operations, 
    identifying improvement opportunities, and enhancing the volunteer experience.

    Weekly Schedule:
    Monday: Off
    Tuesday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM
    Wednesday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM
    Thursday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM
    Friday: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
    Saturday: Off

    Store Hours:
    Monday: 10 AM - 7 PM
    Tuesday:  10 AM - 7 PM 
    Wednesday:  10 AM - 7 PM 
    Thursday:  10 AM - 7 PM 
    Friday: 10 AM - 4 PM
    Saturday: 10 AM - 4 PM
    Sunday: Closed

    Essential Requirements: 

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting.
    • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate volunteers.
    • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
    • Flexibility to assist with merchandising, donation processing, and other operational needs.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends (Saturday)
