YOU

As an Assistant Inside Sales Manager, you will support the Inside Sales Manager in leading the department, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a “no-equal” customer experience. You’ll also mentor and guide Inside Sales Supervisors and Customer Service Representatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Support Department Leadership (30%)

Assist the Inside Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, monitoring call reports, and ensuring workflow efficiency.

Team Development & Coaching (25%)

Lead, coach, and develop Inside Sales Supervisors and team members. Provide feedback, set goals, and foster a collaborative environment.

Operational Oversight (20%)

Ensure order accuracy, compliance with SOX and ISO standards, and implement corrective actions when needed.

Customer Experience & Issue Resolution (15%)

Address escalated customer concerns, support export documentation processes, and ensure service excellence.

Reporting & Strategic Input (10%)

Prepare reports, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to policy and process improvements.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience in sales or customer service
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team-oriented with a collaborative leadership style
  • Ability to manage priorities and adapt to change

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc.  The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

TRAVEL

This job requires up to 5% domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, exempt, position is located in Stockton, CA. It is not eligible for remote work.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$81,100 - $129,800 / year
