We are looking for a hands-on, dependable Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This role requires a leader who can confidently manage both FOH and BOH responsibilities, deliver excellent guest experiences, and step in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support overall restaurant operations, including both front and back of house
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Lead shifts and guide team members proactively (not just when directed)
- Maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach during busy or high-pressure situations
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and team development
- Operate and troubleshoot POS systems as needed
- Step in to assist on the line or other roles during peak times or when short-staffed
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum availability of 30 hours per week
- Prior restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead by example and take initiative without being asked
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, honest, and team-focused
- Comfortable working both FOH and BOH as needed
