The role involves managing daily team operations, creating prototypes, conducting feasibility tests, and refining concepts in collaboration with engineers, industrial designers, and project managers.
Responsibilities include ideation, prototype development, performance demos, budget and schedule management, and clear communication of technical ideas.
Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical or related field, 5+ years in design/prototyping, 2+ years team management, 3D CAD skills, hands-on fabrication experience, and familiarity with electronics and measurement tools.
Ideal candidates are self-starters with a collaborative, "Maker" mindset, capable of rapid prototyping and cross-functional communication.
Proficiency with software such as SolidWorks, NX, Office, and experience with electrical/mechanical systems are preferred.
