Job Description

Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our 107 Wildwood Rd location in Willernie, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals
  • Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise
  • Create and adjust employee schedules to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Assist in financial management, including cash handling and reporting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members
  • Step in for the store manager when necessary

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in retail or a similar customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Experience with inventory management and cash handling
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
