The Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher supports classroom activities under supervision, helping create a safe, nurturing, and culturally relevant environment that promotes children's development across social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and nutritional areas.
Responsibilities include facilitating child-led learning, assisting with personal care routines, organizing age-appropriate activities, supporting behavior and health plans, and documenting observations.
They build strong relationships with children and families, promote parent involvement, and ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with infants/toddlers, relevant certifications, and bilingual skills preferred.
Must follow safety procedures, participate in ongoing training, and work effectively within a team to support program goals.
