Rockwell Care Services is hiring a compassionate and dependable Assistant House Manager to help oversee one of our residential care homes in Pocatello, Idaho. This is a full-time leadership position working directly with adults with disabilities in a private residential setting.

Position Details

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

About the Role

The Assistant House Manager works closely with the House Manager to help oversee daily operations of the home while also providing direct care and support to residents. This role includes assisting with staff support, documentation, scheduling coverage, and ensuring residents receive high-quality care.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, compassionate, and able to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.

Direct Care Responsibilities

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Meal preparation

  • Housekeeping and household assistance

  • Medication reminders

  • Helping residents achieve personal goals

  • Running errands and transportation assistance

  • Engaging residents in games, activities, memory books, and light exercise

  • Personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Med Tech Certification preferred

  • At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and problem solve

  • Valid Idaho driver's license with clean driving record
