The Assistant Head Housekeeper assists the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This position supervises housekeeping associates, conducts room inspections, assists with scheduling and training, and serves as the department leader in the Head Housekeeper's absence.
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) and able to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, and push housekeeping carts throughout the shift.
