In 2008, the Workman Family franchised the pizzeria in New Buffalo, Michigan, bringing the same iconic recipes, warm hospitality, and community first mindset to Southwest Michigan.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Villa Nova. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure our customers have an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Assist in scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply of ingredients and materials.
• Assist in budgeting and financial management, including tracking sales and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, employee records, and reporting.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a management role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
