Overview:
As an Assistant General Manager, you will provide support to the General Manager, which includes assisting homeowners and other administrative duties to ensure we deliver exceptional services and solutions that enhance the value of the property and the lifestyle of the residents.
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Essential Duties:
- Assist the General Manager in addressing resident inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborate with the community manager and board of directors to manage the community's business affairs.
- Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate and supervise community maintenance activities, including inspections, repair requests, and preventative maintenance.
- Assist in managing vendor contracts and services, ensuring compliance and quality of work.
- Support the preparation and management of the community's annual budget, financial statements, and reporting to the Board.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and facilitating Board meetings and annual membership meetings.
- Contribute to fostering a sense of community and enhancing resident satisfaction through social events, programs, and activities.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and community-related data.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to community management.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining and building a calendar indicating all community & association activity.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ Years of customer service experience required.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CAM Preferred
