ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Objective

Tap Root was established in 2023 with the goal to give our guests a truly unique experience each time they visit our wineries. Our properties are a destination! It is our passion to serve our guests and give them a Napa Valley experience right here in Northeast Ohio.

This location features restaurant service, weddings, events, and a speakeasy-style members only bourbon lounge.

Requirements

4+ years of full service restaurant management in upscale experience preferred

Outgoing Energetic Personality

Guest focused service mentality

Strong Computer skills including word, excel and POS Systems knowledge

P&L knowledge and accountability

Strong guest service standards and leadership qualities

Ability to build a team and develop management skills

Work Closely with the management team to identify key employees for development and future leadership roles

Strong culinary knowledge with emphasis on cost and quality controls

Problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Must be able to work an average of 55 hours per week

Must be able to stand and walk for period of length from 8-10 hours throughout a shift
