Position Summary

GolfSuites Baton Rouge is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support overall venue operations with a strong focus on Food & Beverage excellence. This leader will play a key role in driving profitability, elevating guest experience, and developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced, entertainment-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily operations, with a primary focus on F&B performance, quality, and consistency
  • Lead and motivate team partners to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage inventory, ordering, labor scheduling, and cost controls
  • Drive sales growth through promotions, upselling strategies, and events
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service standards
  •  Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
  • Partner with the General Manager to execute business goals and operational strategies
  • Handle guest concerns and escalations professionally and effectively
  • Support hiring, training, coaching, and development of team partners
  • Foster a fun, high-energy, team-oriented culture

What We Need

  • F&B Expertise is a MUST
  • Strong background in food & beverage operations
  • Knowledge of menu development, cost controls, inventory, and profitability
  • Experience managing high-volume service environments

Operations Leader

  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations
  • Strong leadership presence with a focus on execution and accountability
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

People Developer

  • Passion for building, training, and developing high-performing teams
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Track record of achieving sales, labor, and cost targets

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience in hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment venue
  • Strong Food & Beverage background required
  • ServSafe Manager Certification REQUIRED
  • East Baton Rouge Parish Bar card REQUIRED
  • Retail Food Establishment Manager Certification (manager card) REQUIRED
  • Experience with inventory systems, scheduling, and Toast POS systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Open availability needed
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
