The Assistant General Counsel, Litigation, is an on-site role responsible for managing active litigation and regulatory matters, including complex commercial, employment, and liability claims.
They prepare reports, participate in arbitrations, mediations, and hearings, and develop litigation strategies to minimize risks.
The role involves overseeing compliance programs, collaborating with internal teams and outside counsel, and implementing process improvements.
Candidates need a JD, admission to a state or DC bar, 10+ years of litigation experience (preferably in product liability and firearms industry), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The position requires managing multiple priorities, strategic thinking, and occasional travel.
Work conditions include prolonged desk work, physical tasks, and adherence to safety protocols.
