About the Role
A growing pool installation company in the Michiana region is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Foreman to support daily onsite operations and help lead installation crews. This role is ideal for someone with construction or installation experience who wants to grow into a leadership position while working outdoors and building high‑quality projects.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Foreman with planning, organizing, and executing pool installation tasks
- Lead by example through strong work ethic, professionalism, and safety awareness
- Guide crew members by demonstrating techniques and helping newer team members learn
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including excavation and installation machinery
- Support jobsite readiness: layout assistance, material staging, equipment checks, cleanup
- Communicate clearly with the Foreman and crew to keep projects on schedule
- Troubleshoot onsite challenges and help implement practical solutions
- Foster a positive, respectful, team‑oriented work environment
What You Bring
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction or installation experience
- Willingness to learn leadership skills and take on increasing responsibility
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical capability to perform hands‑on labor
- Basic equipment operation skills and openness to training
- Strong communication habits and a team‑first mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
