The Assistant Coach position involves supporting the design and implementation of a comprehensive activities program from 7th grade through varsity levels, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and fostering student development.
Essential duties include attending work reliably, participating in training, analyzing opposition strategies, assessing athletes, assisting in off-season programs, developing game strategies, instructing students, maintaining records, supervising athletes, and promoting the program.
They collaborate with coaching staff, communicate program needs, ensure athlete safety, monitor academic eligibility, and assist with fundraising and budgeting.
Qualifications include meeting minimum MSHSAA requirements, with a preferred valid Missouri Teaching Certificate and coaching experience.
Professional conduct, punctuality, and effective communication are expected.
