The Middle School Assistant Football Coach reports to the Athletic Director/Principal and is a supplemental coaching position.
They will promote skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character while ensuring a safe, positive experience for student-athletes.
Responsibilities include planning and conducting practices, coaching during games, modeling good sportsmanship, ensuring policy compliance, supervising students, communicating with stakeholders, supporting academic success, managing equipment, and attending trainings.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (college coursework preferred), coaching or playing experience, knowledge of middle school rules and strategies, strong communication and leadership skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and completion of district-required certifications and background checks.
Physical requirements involve standing, running, lifting equipment, and working evenings/weekends. The work environment is outdoor, involving exposure to noise, crowds, and physical activity.
