Compensation

  • Based on the Wynne School District Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

  • Valid Arkansas Teaching License.
  • Arkansas Coaching Endorsement.
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • CDL or willingness to obtain CDL preferred.

Assistant Football Coaching Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Instruction

  • Teach and develop student-athletes in position-specific skills during practices and games.
  • Provide instruction, feedback, and evaluation to support athlete development.

Game Preparation

  • Assist in developing offensive, defensive, and special teams strategies.
  • Analyze game film and scout opponents.

Program Administration

  • Support daily program operations, including equipment organization and travel logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with AAA rules and district policies.

Academic Monitoring

  • Collaborate with teachers and academic staff to monitor student-athlete progress.
  • Support academic eligibility and accountability.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote athlete safety through proper technique and equipment usage.
  • Monitor student-athlete well-being at all times.

Equipment Management

  • Assist with inventorying, organizing, and maintaining all team equipment.
  • Ensure proper use, care, and storage by players and staff.
  • Report damaged or missing equipment and assist with repairs or replacement.

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Design and administer assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.

  • Establish clear expectations and maintain a structured, respectful environment.

Student Support

  • Provide individualized instruction and support diverse learning needs.
  • Foster students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians.
