The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences aligned with Magnolia Hotel’s boutique service standards. This role assists in supervising staff, maintaining quality control, and driving operational efficiency across restaurant, bar, room service, and event functions.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Assist in overseeing daily F&B operations including restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet services
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage, and service standards
  • Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and overall guest experience

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and motivate F&B team members
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, and performance management
  • Promote a positive, guest-focused culture

Guest Experience

  • Address guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain strong presence on the floor during peak service periods
  • Build relationships with repeat and VIP guests

Financial Performance

  • Support cost control measures including labor, food, and beverage costs
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and vendor coordination
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Maintain compliance with alcohol service laws and hotel policies
  • Uphold brand standards and service protocols

Events & Banquets

  • Assist in coordinating and executing meetings, events, and private dining
  • Collaborate with sales and kitchen teams to deliver seamless experiences

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all time
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
    • 2–4 years of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment
    • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
