Assistant Flag Football Coach

Creekside High School is looking to hire an Assistant Flag Football Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This is a part-time stipend position. Responsibilities include assisting in developing and implementing a comprehensive flag football program that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The coach will assist in planning and leading flag football practices and team meetings, coordinating and attending all flag football events, including games, competitions, and community performances. Collaboration with school administrators, athletic directors, and other coaches to ensure the success of the flag football program is also required. The coach must maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and boosters regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations, and manage eligibility and administrative policies and procedures.

Qualifications include previous coaching experience in flag football, preferably at the high school level, strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, commitment to promoting a positive team culture and fostering the personal development of student-athletes, and required certifications in CPR, First Aid, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, and Heat Illness. Florida law requires all Athletic Coaches to hold either a valid Florida Educator Certificate or a valid Athletic Coaching Certificate.
