Job Summary:
The Assistant Expense Manager is a professional who handles the administrative and logistical aspects of managing JBS, Beardstown, expenses. The person will be responsible to maintain meticulous records and expenses and ensuring they adhere to company policies and regulations. They will maintain up-to-date and accurate records, including receipts, invoices and supporting documentation. They will adhere to relevant laws and regulations related to expense management.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Travel to other plants to assist in CUTS Trips Twice a year.
- Annual budget Review.
- Ability to travel with corporate expense manager.
- Compile and track information regarding expenses and costs associated with operation of facility
- Complete daily and weekly reports containing information pertaining to all costs and expenses associated with facility operations
- Analyze reports; solicits, develop, and tests recommendations for decreasing costs
- Work closely with entire plant management and staff to continually drive the recommended cost reductions into the P&L reporting.
- Set plant goals regarding expenses
- Attend meetings as scheduled and called; prepared to discuss and summarize plant expenses, evaluate increases or decreases in costs, and detail plans for expense reductions
- Other duties as required

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual (Spanish, French, Creole, Burmese)
- Knowledge of industry engineering principles
- Thorough understanding of operation process.
- Ability to create and present presentations
Working Conditions
- Work 40+ hours per week in various areas of the facility
- Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objects (knives), machinery and vehicles
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in Business or related field
- Previous experience with cost analysis and industrial engineering
- Protein Manufacturing a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Climbing stairs.
- Regular Visits to Production Floor: Hot, Cold, Smells, PPE Required
The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits:
- Base Salary: $60,000-$90,179/year
