(MMS) is a dedicated, MLC certified, marine and offshore crewing company whose focus is to add value to the ship or asset owner through successful and cost-effective management of marine resources. MMS’s main focuses are offshore crewing, personnel recruitment, and project support.

Assistant Engineer (Non-Union)
Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Engineer the Assistant Engineer is responsible for preparation, operation and maintenance of all vessel machinery and systems throughout the voyage.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May oversee and direct other engineering department personnel.
Compensation:
Duration/Travel/Timeline Details: 10% Travel – To and from the vessel along with shoreside training
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions/Work Environment: Works both inside and outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. Meet the 719K physical standard.
Other: Must be able to work in a drug free workplace; never under the influence of mind-altering prescriptions or non-prescription drugs, including alcohol, and other drugs of abuse.
