Job Summary

Assist in directing the purchasing function for multi-campus community college in compliance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act and State Regents policy.

Essential Duties

Prepare or assist with the preparation of bid specifications for competitive bids and distribute bid invitations to vendors.

Maintain/establish vendor relationships. Maintain a list of eligible vendors, pricing agreements, discount sheets, equipment catalogues, etc.

Review and approve requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice-attached requisitions to ascertain compliance with internal policy as well as local, State and Federal laws.

Provide excellent customer service to various College departments while assisting them with their purchasing or contract needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree required (preference in Business, Law, Accounting, or Finance related field).

Three years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Five years related experience.

Experience with Jaggaer, Banner, and Concur.
