Assist the director with the general operations and oversight appertaining to their area of responsibility
JOB SUMMARY
Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion, this position would oversee the ongoing development and performance of Club Sports social media sites and networks as well as digital creative content creation for those platforms. The person performing this role will understand, follow, and disseminate Liberty University policies regarding the use of social media and monitor all aspects related to Club Sports. This position will organize and oversee use of social media and video and content initiatives for purposes of promoting the various Club Sport teams and engaging both the public and student body toward those teams. This person will create & oversee creation of content for social media and video platforms within Club Sports and teams, working with various departments and areas within the University. This position will oversee, direct, assign and lead all Academic Integration students for social media.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Including but not limited to live game coverage, photography, graphics, video, and weekly digital content.
o Including but not limited to scheduling, mentorship, evaluations, and professional development.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for a Graduate Assistant, 2 student workers & serval interns each semester.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Four-year college degree, with a concentration in graphic design, marketing, business or sport management, 2+ years in a marketing function; Strong social media experience required. Well-developed communications and interpersonal skills required.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate. Working environment may include facilitation of events outdoors or in loud indoor arenas.
Driving Requirements
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee's position.
To obtain LU-approved driver certification, individuals must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of five (5) years of documented driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.

Pay Range
Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.
The position may also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00
