The Assistant Director of Residence Life supports the overall educational experience of Centenarys students by leading one of the Colleges residential areas and serving as a campus Deputy Title IX Coordinator.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSServing as the live-in professional for one residential community focused on the intentional development of students through the implementing the departments Residential EngagementModel.Training and supervising student members of the Resident Assistant staff.Mentoring students and contributing to the development of student leaders.Advising student groups including but not necessarily limited to a Hall Council.Working collaboratively with faculty and providing primary staff support to one or more faculty-directed living-learning communities if in the residential area.Living on campus and participating in central staff duty rotation.Serving as a student conduct hearing officer.Serving as Title IX Investigator filling adjudicative administrative compliance educational investigative andor other roles as needed.Plan and implement campus bystander training and intervention programming.Accessible and reachable by telephone or text message at times other than College business hours for the purpose of emergencies after hours and on weekends.Other related administrative functions projects duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises student members of the Resident Assistant staff.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
