Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

Direct Reports: Clinical Services Manager, Health Care Coordinator, Infectious Disease Case Manager, Rheum IV Infusion Nurse, Rheum Customer Experience Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Nursing assumes responsibility, authority and accountability for the delivery of clinical support staff and ancillary services throughout all clinics and service facilities of Central Florida Health Care.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred
Strong leadership, clinical, and administrative skills; at least two years of clinical nursing leadership experience required
Preferred experience in ambulatory care and Joint Commission accredited facility
Familiarity with the FQHC model and reporting requirements preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Computer Skills: E-mail, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), practice management and electronic health record software, preferably Athena
Other requirements: Able to work flexible hours and travel to each clinic as needed
RSONSIBILTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires 80% or more time spent standing/walking
Independently mobile
Ability to lift weight equivalents to what would be required when occasionally assisting and positioning patients, repositioning equipment and lifting supplies
