About the Role
Staffing Care Pro is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience to join our growing Home Health agency as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role is perfect for an RN who wants to make a meaningful impact beyond bedside care, shaping clinical excellence across a skilled nursing and therapy team. You'll support the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing operations, mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting high-quality, patient-centered care.

This position blends clinical oversight, leadership, and occasional field support to ensure patients receive the best possible care in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Support the DON in managing day-to-day clinical operations across skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology
Supervise, mentor, and coach field RNs, LPNs, and therapists, providing guidance on clinical best practices, onboarding, and ongoing performance evaluations
Conduct home visits as needed for supervision, quality checks, or escalation of patient care needs
Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all services, including Medicare, Medicaid, and OASIS standards
Participate in audits, chart reviews, plan-of-care development, and interdisciplinary case conferences
Serve as a clinical resource to staff and referral partners, promoting evidence-based, patient-centered care
Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and workflow improvements to optimize team performance
Qualifications
Active Indiana RN license
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in home health, skilled nursing, or a related setting
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, OASIS documentation, and home health regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
Comfortable making independent clinical and operational decisions
