Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! This role is responsible for the twenty-four-hour nursing care of all residents through the performance of the nursing personnel.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…

  • Develop, organize, and operate the nursing services and supportive services for the Health Care Center.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, residents, resident family members, and employees.
  • Maintain a schedule of daily rounds and assignments of duties for all nursing staff to assure 24-hour coverage sufficient to meet federal and state regulatory requirements and community standards of care.
  • Interview and hire new nursing personnel for all levels of care.
  • Oversee the completion of new hire and annual performance evaluations.
  • Observe and assist in direct resident care. Assist in covering shifts, per the community need. Not limited to working as a CNA or Charge Nurse.

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU…

  • Have a degree from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor''s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, or Associate''s degree of Nursing.
  • Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have geriatric nursing experience.
  • Have one year of management experience supervising others.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
